hela Sverige Veolia Water Technologies (AnoxKaldnes) is a company working with waste water treatment. The company has extensive research within the area, and to our R&D department we are now looking for a committed and motivated R&D Engineer to work with the operation and follow up of one of our pilot plants.
As an R&D Engineer you will be responsible for the operation and for the follow up of the performance of the pilot plant. You will be active in suggesting changes and improvements and carrying them through. The work also includes presenting and reporting achieved results as well as actively participating in cooperation?s concerning the project.
Main duties:
Responsible for the daily operation and monitoring of the process.
Responsible for following up the performance through sampling and analyses
Analyse data and suggest changes and improvements
Together with the project team plan the activities within the Project
Independently perform planed activities on the pilot and in the lab
Report and communicate achieved results
Qualifications
You like practical work, has the ability to analyse achieved results and you are a driven and curious person who likes to work independently.
Education
You have an education corresponding to either a Master of Science or a Bachelor for example in environmental engineering, biotechnology or chemical engineering, preferably with a specialisation in waste water treatment. You probably graduated recently or have worked a couple of years.
Additional Requirements
You are well familiar with written and spoken English and you have a driver?s license valid in Sweden.
Experience from biological waste water treatment and especially the anammox process is an advantage.
You will be based in Lund, Sweden and you report directly to the Manager in R&D -Municipal, Industry & Biogas.
