We are looking for a responsible, ambitious, and service minded person with proven competence in mechanical calculations and/or simulations. The overall responsibility is to develop and maintain high reliability and performance for primarily rotor-dynamics area in large rotating AC machines.
More specifically, you will be the responsible person for the rotor-dynamics performance of large rotating AC ma-chines, which means performing lateral critical speed calculations for sales and R&D purposes. Rotor dynamic calculations/simulations are performed with state-of-the-art tool. We provide you the specific training if you have the right ambition and background.
As this role is within the mechanical R&D team, general mechanical calculation and FEM can also be part of the role depending on needs and skills.
Your responsibilities
General responsibility of the rotor-dynamic performance
Serving sales/quotations with design-specific lateral critical speed analysis based on customer requirement
Develop the rotor-dynamic performance of rotating large AC Machines
Responsible for the R&D roadmap in the rotor-dynamics field
Maintaining the department competence for oil lubricated rotor bearings

Your background
University degree in mechanical engineering, mechanics, or physics
Fluent English by speech and writing is mandator, knowledge in Swedish is meritorious
Preferably work experience within mechanical engineering or simulations
