hela Sverige As our FA Technician you will support to conduct detailed failure analysis based on standard checking procedures and laboratory test. By utilizing broad knowledge about the products and their configurations, fail-tracking procedures, the primary objective of your tasks is to find the true failure root causes, as well as contribute to develop and refine the diagnostic test procedures. You will have to involve supporting functions or other colleagues for contribution in the analysis, request Supplier RCA (root-cause analysis) support and expert investigation, analyzes received information from suppliers and experts, identify most plausible failure causes, and documents final conclusions. You build and maintain standard test setups, as well as maintain the DUT stock.
You will play a key-role in a small FA team within the GAP HW R&D.
You hold a relevant technical education, along with at least five years' experience in the corresponding field.
In order to succeed in this role, the following competences are required.
• Broad product knowledge
o Configurations (HW/SW), functions, operations modes
o Product setup for testing (interconnections for supply, test, monitoring equipment)
• Experience from HW type testing and failure analysis of GA Products is qualifying
• Fluency in English and Swedish is required.
On a personal level, you are analytical, proactive and focus-oriented with a deep interest in electronics analysis and a focus on product quality. Furthermore, you are a team player with strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
You will be part of Grid Automation Products (GAP) in Västerås.
