As a R&D Engineer at High Voltage Technology Center Surge Arresters, you will have a role where your main focus will be to develop and implement new products. Furthermore, you will be a project leader (or be a team member) in development projects and have contact with suppliers, customers and internal and global stakeholders. Ensuring and be in charge of problem solving, technical evaluations and setting goals and executing action plans. The membership of Technology center for Surge Arresters team includes exciting and varied work.
You will have development opportunities within the areas of electrical and/or mechanical design and applications.
You hold as minimum a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and preferably combined with project leadership experience. Since you will be part of a global business, proficiency in English, written and spoken, is needed.
We are looking for a R&D Engineer for our High Voltage Technology Center, Surge Arrester team in Ludvika. We provide technical expertise to our development projects and product care. High Voltage Products is a business unit within the Power Grids division that develops, manufactures and markets high voltage products for HVAC and HVDC systems, such as surge arresters, breakers, instrument transformers, capacitors, cooling systems and cable accessories. All these products contribute to grid reliability where customer benefits and the environment are a key focus.
