hela Sverige Our customer develops ERP systems for companies all around the world. From regional offices the company serves customers in Europe, North America and Asia. Our customer is focused on expanding and strengthening their product portfolio. We are now looking for an experienced R&D Director to the company's office in Stockholm.
Role Description:
Advises corporate executives and business unit leaders about the project status and resource planning for the delivery of product releases. Plans, directs, and ensures the successful management of assigned project teams. Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating and developing methods and procedures that are efficient, effective, and meet good business practices.
Maintains excellent communication with upper management both within and across organizations to ensure smooth running of all projects undertaken by the team. Responsible for ensuring that projects are lead in a mature and organization-focused manner. You will report directly to Vice President R&D
Responsibilities:
Management of development personnel in multiple facilities.
Establishing distributed development processes.
Collecting and reporting metrics that accurately reflect development productivity and product quality.
Advising corporate executives and business unit leaders about development center status, implementation status, resource utilization, and future resource requirements.
Provides leadership, direction and coaching on project specific tasks as well as individual professional development.
Initiates and implements new technologies, methodologies, processes, and procedures to support Company?s long and short term goals.
Allocates appropriate resources to ensure that projects, enhancements, and deliverables are completed within committed time, scope, and budget.
Be a part of the management team and staff responsibility.
Requirements:
10+ years professional experience in software development.
4+ years demonstrated project and personnel management experience
3+ years managing enterprise scale product development environments.
5+ years in Agile development.
Preference given to individuals with experience in offshore development.
