hela Sverige You will be part of Transformer Service, a business unit within ABB Power Grids. We have served our customers for over 100 years, being the global market leader. Our broad portfolio involves many processes which are key elements in our strategy, and we are therefore looking for a Quality and OPEX Manager to strengthen our team in this area. You will be based in Ludvika, a cluster and knowledge center of high voltage business.
You will set up an effective management system and develop Q&OpEx, HSE strategies, as well as support their local adoption and deployment to accelerate the rate of operational improvement across the entire value chain. Empowering the people and organization to live HSE, Q & OPEX is our challenge, where you need to work closely with the management team to set coherent and aligned priorities and targets across the entire value chain, monitor progress, analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and act on deviations. A key task is implementation of quality improvements tools, as e.g. Lean Six Sigma, to continuously improve business practices and performance. You will be part of the management team and responsible for progress in these areas.
To be suitable for this role, you have experience in working with Lean and/or Six Sigma as a change agent. As you will be working in a global environment, you are fluent in English, written and spoken alike, whereas knowledge of Swedish is a plus.
On a personal level, you are an analytical leader and a team player with an independent and solution oriented working style, strong communicative and collaborative skills. Moreover, your experience in a multicultural environment and high degree of inter-cultural sensitivity help you coach and motivate by influence. Experience in the area has given you the confidence and knowledge to improve customer satisfaction and increase profitability in a safe working environment across the local business.
