You will be part of HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current), a business unit within ABB Power Grids located in Ludvika. The unit develops, manufactures and sells DC transmission systems on a global market. This ABB developed HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. HVDC is also used to connect power systems.
ABB Power Grids offers power and automation products, systems and service solutions across the generation, transmission and distribution value chain - enabling a stronger, smarter and greener power grid.
Your responsibilities
Global responsibility for the Quality Development and Governance for HVDC
Acting as Process Owner for the Quality Processes and tools (IMS, ISO, Audits, Non-Conformance management, Customer Feedback management, Process governance and maturity etc.)
Being manager for the team of quality processes contributors/developers
Being part of the Quality Management Team
Leading, supporting and coaching data analysis and SixSigma projects
Driving implementation and compliance to quality processes within the organization together with the quality specialists, all managers and organization
Driving process management within organization
Working with Continuous Improvements together with the team
Living ABB's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business
Your background
Technical/Engineering/Quality education, preferably Masters-level degree
More than 5 years' experience in management positions
Solid knowledge of Quality management, Process management, Lean, SixSigma and Continuous Improvements
Solid knowledge of ISO standards 9001, 14001, 45001
Experience of implementing and driving process management and IMS systems
Audit experience in the above standards and assessments vs plans
Green/Black Belt in Six Sigma/Lean Six Sigma
Proven managerial and leadership skills
Change management skills
Positive and proactive mindset
Driven, structured and analytical personality
Team player and good communicator
