hela Sverige We are now looking for a Quality Engineer for our High Voltage Products unit in Ludvika. High Voltage Instrument Transformers (HV Instrument Transformers) is serving customers all around the world and has very large global market. As a Quality Engineer your main challenge, together with your team, will be to continuously set targets, and by sustainable improvements, support our processes so that the unit can reach yearly targets. This means that you will be responsible for Quality Development in a broad perspective and includes implementation of LEAN initiatives and driving continuous improvements. Your work will run in close collaboration with different level co-workers that include Quality manager, Production management, Supply and Line Management teams as well as Customers and Suppliers. Furthermore, you take part in audits and ensure all processes are in compliance with ABB standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
Because we see customer contacts as the most important part of this role, we put high emphasis on your positive mindset and interpersonal skills. Furthermore, you need to be driven, analytical and structured in your way of working. Not to mention a team player. Your strong communicative and collaborative skills help you build trust for long term business relationships. In addition, you manage change easily and have the ability to grasp the bigger picture of a presented challenge.
Background wise, you probably hold a university degree in a technical field, Quality Management or Economics, but experience in working with Quality Management and/or Development is seen equally qualifying. It is meritorious if you have technical experience from working in the industry. Since you will be working in a global, multicultural environment, we expect you to be fluent in English, written and spoken alike.
