You will be part of HVDC within the Power Grids division in Ludvika. The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 60 years and is used to transmit power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems. As Quality Engineer, you will be part of our Quality team at High Voltage Direct Current; a unit of which the technology has been challenging the market for more than 60 years.

This position will provide you with a great variety of tasks. Your main mission will be to act as ambassador for quality, promote our quality policy statement and support the organization within the area. Among other things, you will also:

• Coordinate, report and analyze Opportunities by Perfecting Quality
• Manage internal as well as external audits
• Follow up on deviations and support findings
• Support the organization within 4Q methodology
• Monitor, maintain and improve the current management system
• Manage Key Performance Indicators
• Support the organization within operational excellence

First and foremost, your personal qualities are vital for success. As Quality Engineer, it is essential that you are driven, structured and analytical. Not to mention a team player. You contribute with your positive and proactive mindset, as well as with your ability to create a good atmosphere. Adding your great leadership skills, you have what it takes to thrive in this position.

As a foundation, you hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Quality, along with five years' experience from working with quality within a project or product based business. Former work as Quality Engineering within an international company is highly valued. Furthermore, solid knowledge of process orientation and flows, continuous improvements as well as of corrective and preventive actions is desired. Audit experience, great communication skills, ISO9001 and MS Visio knowledge is also required, whereas knowledge of Operational Development and 4Q will be to your advantage. Fluency in English is a must, whereas Swedish or another Scandinavian language is qualifying.
