We are an in-house full-stack company that has a great mix of people involved in production, automation, hardware, embedded, app and cloud/backend development.
The role:
You will join Plejd's Quality Team to help us respond to stakeholder requests for compliance information and maintain our compliance documentation. This role offers the opportunity to learn more about compliance with the long term goal of developing you into a compliance engineer. The work will include, but not be limited to:
• Liaising with test houses
• Reviewing EU and country-specific regulations
• Responding to data/documentation requests
• Identifying and correcting potential gaps in documentation
• Maintaining existing regulatory product documentation
Who are you?
You are someone who knows a bit about compliance and is eager to learn more. You are happy to independently look through standards, watch videos, and search online to find information. You are able to work flexibly, multi-tasking and changing priorities as needed. You are someone who enjoys talking out problems in a group to find the best solution. You thrive in an environment where no two days are the same.
Requirements for the Role:
• Some knowledge of product compliance in Europe (e.g. CE, ROHS, Harmonized standards, etc)
• At least 1 year experience working in product development, design, compliance, quality, or related fields
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or similar
• Great ability to logically problem-solve
• Excellent eye for detail
• Eager to learn
• Able to work independently
• Able to multi-task and handle multiple priorities
