www.cochlear.comThe position as Quality Engineer at the manufacturing department means leading, managing and promote Quality development in Manufacturing & Repair, in terms of corrective and preventive quality work. Some of the main tasks in your new work will among other things be:
• having first contact for operators, team leaders and supervisors when a quality issue is detected
• being responsible for root cause analysis on all quality issues in production
• being responsible for having good instructions, equipment and data collection
• being responsible for the training of end of line staff
• being responsible for having a plan for continuous improvement
• assist manufacturing manager in putting up a training and development plan for the staff
• assist in long term planning of the department
• assist in planning of prototype series and communicate results from them
You have a University engineering degree and at least two years working experience from quality work. You have experience from assembly operation - preferably line activity - and you have also worked in Lean or Six Sigma process improvement. Your level of English is good and you prefer working in a dynamic company that is rapidly growing.
