We are now looking for a QA Manager for our Site Operations in Bohus. This is a strategic role with focus on ensuring that processes are aligned with the overall Quality Strategy, the commercial products handled according to Management System, global quality regulations and company policy and that the Quality Management System complies with ISO9001 and GMP demands. A large amount of your energy and time will also be put into developing and leading individual team members through change and building connections to other functions. As member of the Site management Team you will drive the essence of a high quality culture for the operations in four production units supporting the business segments of Pulp and Performance Chemicals.
Main responsibilities:
• Develop and drive a quality strategy for the site to ensure reliability of processes and procedures to fulfill customer demands for production of Fine - Chemicals, Separation Products, HP and Colloidal Silica.
• Lead a team of QA engineers and coordinators.
• Supervise the qualification and validation of new manufacturing equipment and processes, raw-materials, suppliers, products, analytical equipment and methods.
• Ensure the continuous development of the Management System in order to fulfil the requirements for ISO9001 certification, laws and regulations etc.
• Accountable for internal and external audits, including customer audits.
• Define and follow-up appropriate KPI's with respect to quality.
• Ensure that deviations are effectively and efficiently handled.
• Create a strong Quality Assurance organization to support the growth strategy of high quality products for Performance Chemicals and HP Nordics.
- Master of Science in chemistry, chemical engineering or equivalent. Further education and/or experience in analytical chemistry is beneficial.
- Leadership experience more than 5 years.
- Skills in quality management systems and audit techniques.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
- Extensive knowledge with regard to legislation, regulations, directives and standards on quality.
- Good knowledge about health, safety, work environment and HSE regulations.
To be successful in this position you have great communication skills and the ability to lead, engage, and coach others, especially during change. You have a strategic mindset and an understanding of our customers' needs. You are also good at prioritizing and able to handle large amounts of data at the same time.
