The Role
Icomera, a fast-growing technology company, is now looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join the growing team in Gothenburg and contribute to Icomera's ambition to deliver top class connectivity products and solutions to customers in the transportation market.
The Quality Assurance Manager will be required to manage, develop and continuously improve Icomera's Management System, whilst ensuring compliance to existing and forthcoming quality standards. Icomera operates within the technology and transport sectors, so applied knowledge from those industries is essential.
Main responsibilities will include:
• Prepare and coordinate external production supplier and customer audit programs, and maintain an audit preparations checklist to ensure consistency in Icomera's approach
• Handle non-conformances in relation to product quality at Icomera, independently responsible within Icomera for ensuring high levels of product and production quality
• Monitor the effectiveness of the Management System through internal audits, implementing and evaluating corrective actions with the relevant stakeholders
• Set standards and establish clearly defined quality methods for staff to apply
• Enhance and maintain controls and documentation procedures
• Ensure the non-conformance process is a vibrant and active part of the company's culture
The right candidate will need to be able to operate with little supervision and be able to develop the role further. Icomera work in a fast-paced environment which requires someone who is comfortable in change and adapting to meet the goals of the business. No direct reports are involved in this role, although seniority and direct experience are attributes that are strongly desired. The Quality Assurance Manager will work alongside four other members of the Quality department, two of which are full-time employees in the Gothenburg office.
We believe you have:
• Five years of working experience of Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment
• Experience of leading audit and cooperating closely with other departments and team leaders across a range of engineering disciplines
• Solid and demonstrable understanding of working with ISO standards, especially ISO 9001:2015
• Understanding how to use SFMEA, DFMEA and PFMEA for analysis and to moderate their use within Icomera
• Experience and awareness of PPAP and APQP within the automotive supply chain
• A University education in a technical discipline
