The Role: Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC) Manager
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Preparing Quality Manual, Quality Control Procedures, Inspection Test Plan QC Inspection Forms
• Analysing the Corrective Actions Report and preparing the root cause and Corrective action, with the support of respective technical experts as required.
• Conducting Quality awareness training Program for Project Management and for other Project staff
• Organising Management review meeting
• Conversant with Integrity Management, Management, RISK Management
• Conversant in preparing Quality Control Procedures, Inspection and Test Plan, for Multidiscipline Oil and Gas Construction activities
• Conversant with ISO, ASME, API, BS, ASTM, DIN, NACE, ASNT, AWS, and Major Oil and Gas Client Specification
• Monitoring NCR, CAR and PAR etc
• Conversant with WPS, PQR, Welder Qualification in compliance with ASME, API, AWS etc
• Conversant with Painting, Coating, Insulation and Refractory
• Conversant with Piping Pre fabrication, Erection, Pressure Testing, Test Packs
• Conversant with CS, SS, DUPLEX, S-DUP Welding, NDT, and PWHT
• Conversant with Installation of Static and Rotating Equipment
• Witnessing Mechanical Test, Civil Lab Test, Coating Test etc
• Man Management Skills - Managing Site's QA/QC team
• Conversant with dedicated Software system for Piping and pipeline material and weld history tracking
• Conversant with Construction QA/QC Site activities of all Oil and Gas discipline Mechanical, Civil, Electrical& Electronics and Instrumentation works - ATEX/CompEx, and Buildings
• Coordination with Client's QA/QC Management and Subcontractor QA/QC Management -
• Conversant with Calibration systems
• Recruiting and Mobilising QA/QC staff for Oil and Gas Projects
• Pre- Qualifying Vendors, Subcontractors in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 and Client Specification
• Resolving QA/ QC issues at the Construction Site as required
• QA/QC support for Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (EPCC) of Oil & Gas Field
• Preservation of LTC, SS, Duplex Materials and Static & Rotating Equipment
Requirements:
• Must be a Graduate Engineer (B.Sc. Eng. / BE/ B.tech) either in Mechanical or Metallurgical engineering
• Must have a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in onshore oil and gas construction
• At least 7 year of experience working in oil and gas projects in the Middle East.
• Must have a minimum of 7 years management experience in implementation of quality management system.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Swedish
• Willingness to travel to Basra, Iraq on monthly basis with each visit lasting for 10 days on average
• Hard worker, down to earth, and a team player
• Enjoy being in a multinational work environment
• Comfortable with working under tight and fast moving deadlines
The role will be based in our Stockholm office, but requires monthly trips to Basra, Iraq.
