The challenge
We are looking for a Customs Expert who will be responsible for customs issues within the Lantmännen Group. You will be part of the Group Taxes team within the Group Finance staff but you will be working in close proximity with other functions within the Lantmännen Group. You will be placed in either of Stockholm or Malmö. The role will require some travel to the other of the two mentioned locations, as well as to other group locations within Sweden and abroad.
As Lantmännen Group's Customs Expert, you will handle customs issues on both an operative and a strategic level. The mission for the Customs Expert is to, within the effective legislation, globally optimize the Lantmännen Group's customs processes and provide customs advice to the local businesses. Important tasks will be assessment of origin, classification of goods and keeping up to date with free trade agreements to ensure that Group companies are compliant. You have good knowledge of Incoterms.
You will compose and implement policies and guidelines for the whole Lantmännen Group. You will give strategic advice to optimize new flows of goods from a customs perspective. You will create constant improvements of the customs handling in order to improve efficiency and automation. As a Group expert you will handle deviations, solve problems, manage risks and evolve the customs processes.

Who are you?
You have several years of experience (documented education or practical experience) from the customs area, probably including the customs authority. Today, you work as a customs specialist at a corporation. You have good knowledge of EU's customs legislation. Experience from the food industry is meritorious.
As a person, you are service minded and capable of working independently. You have good communication skills and can in a pedagogic way explain complicated customs issues. You can handle both internal and external customer and other parties in a professional way. You have experience from leading projects and have good analytical skills. It's a requirement that you are fluent in both Swedish and English since you will be working on an international arena.
