The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for providing process support in accordance with documented procedures and practices related to the ASME standard. The Quality Assurance Engineer is also responsible for the development, implementation, improvement and continuous reinforcement of established Quality Assurance fundamental practices that are utilized in the local business.
Essential Responsibilities:
Coordinate site activities related to manufacturing according to the pressure vessel standard ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineer)
Monitor ASME standard and implement changes into local procedures
Act as site contact against 3rd party inspector
Support local business functions to secure quality and regulatory compliance in accordance with documented procedures
Act as QA representative in change control Boards and New Product/Process projects

Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (or working experience in Quality Assurance or working experience in hardware/pharmaceutical industry
Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing processes, product development lifecycles, design change and document change control
Ability to coordinate & handle tasks with competing priorities effectively
Ability to communicate using Swedish and English
Desired Characteristics:
Demonstrated knowledge of Quality Management System tools, continuous improvement methodologies & in-depth understanding of site level products & related processes
Excellent oral communication & report, business correspondence & procedure-writing skills
Ability to simplify a strategy into specific actions with clear accountability, making decisions with speed & accuracy based on best available information
Knowledge of the ASME standard is desired but not required
