YOUR WEEKDAY
We are working with a modern front-end stack including functional ReactJS, SCSS and a relevant backend stack mostly revolving around Python/Django, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch and AWS.
We strive to be modern! This is not just a statement that we throw out there - we continuously address technical debt to keep our platform competitive for years to come. Of course, we try not to even incur the technical debt in the first place - however that is not always possible. What is possible - is to work in a great team with a methodology that probably is new to you. You will work in six week build cycles on a pitch. The pitch specifies the problem and outlines a solution, but a lot of freedom is given to your build team (UX + Frontend + Backend) when you implement, test and ship the work item. After the six week pitch you have two weeks of cooldown, a great opportunity to keep your skills updated.
If you like remote work, this role is great! You will work 100% remote. Once in a while you will take part in company wide activities together with your colleagues. This means that you can work from abroad in periods if that is your wish!
WHO ARE YOU?
We are currently looking for someone who has experience in Python and Django in the context of web development. As mentioned before, we are using Django as our main workhorse. Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, AWS and other technologies in the web sphere is always a plus. If you also know some architectural principles that's great!
The main responsibility that comes as a part of a build team is also to make clean coding and architectural decisions during the build process. We therefore need you who have a good eye for the details and some foresight on how the decisions might define future engineering opportunities.

As a home seeker, you can easily see and search for vacant rental housing at several property companies. At the same time, the platform gives the property companies better basis for decision making and automates manual work. We simply help landlords and home seekers to find each other in an easy, safe and resource-efficient way.
We have grown rapidly in a short period of time and already have over 400,000 users and many of the largest landlords in Sweden as customers. We continue to grow with double-digit percentages every month and this just accelerates.
