Job assignments
As a Purchasing Manager you will be responsible to manage purchasing and sourcing of generator products.
It will be your responsibility to:
• Develop and manage a team of suitably skilled, qualified and experienced buyers to deliver an excellent operational purchasing service to agreed Quality Cost and Delivery.
• Build excellent working relationship with Internal Customers and Suppliers.
• Help develop and ensure implementation of the Purchasing Strategy, Policies and Standards.
• Monitor performance against KPIs e.g. budgets and targets.
• Provide input to the Tendering and planning process.
• Manage the supplier base for generators.
• Manages the interface with the PSP organisation to ensure co-ordination of strategic sourcing activities.
This is a full-time permanent position that will be based in Västerås. It will require some overseas travel.
Qualifications
We are looking for you, who are educated to degree level (within either a commercial or engineering discipline) and have at least 5 years purchasing and sourcing experience in an industrial environment. You are looking for a new challenge, results orientated, customer focussed, proactive and an excellent communicator. You also have excellent negotiation skills and good contractual awareness. Fluent English is a must.
