AkzoNobel Pulp and Performance is looking for a Purchaser to our national purchasing organization. In this position you will manage defined materials and services within the area of Purchasing according to the business guidelines and policies as to deliver maximized total cost of ownership savings. You will also co-ordinate purchasing activities and networks across the business.
Main duties and responsibilities
• Ensure competitive sourcing of materials and services within required service level
• Negotiate and make contracts within assigned product groups to assure best cost structure with secure supply
• Execute buying of material and services
• Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of company requirements for the assigned product groups and sites through regular communication with the factories and the appropriate departments
• Execute market surveys and identify the optimal supply base for assigned product groups.
Additional information
This is a permanent position on a full time basis located "Flexible Sweden". You will be reporting to the Purchasing Manager.

Job requirements/Candidate profile
• Relevant University degree
• Solid experience achieved in the area of purchasing (minimum 5 years)
• Project management experience
• Excellent communication skills in English as well as Swedish.
