This is an exciting role where you will be a team player within the Procurement Department with its purchasing and material planning resources. You will work with activities to secure procurement for the Laxå business.

The role will manage several different categories and your objectives will be to ensure continuous supply, increase quality find possible cost saving initiatives. Also you will be supporting new products development.
You will be a part of the procurement team and manage inventory and suppliers on time delivery.
You will develop supplier relationship and be involved in the supplier selection process to determine where to buy our products.

An essential part is to work in close cooperation with different departments within ESAB like the factory, Operations, R&D and Global Product management.

Qualifications
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree as a Mechanical Engineer
• Knowledge in metals and production processes in metal fabrication
• 5 years' experience of related experience in purchasing raw materials and components
• Project management experience
• High communications skills
• High negotiations skills
• Solid English and Swedish language skills are required to be able to communicate both verbally and in writing
• High skills in reading and interpret drawings and technical documentation.
• Prior experience within the welding technics and principles is a merit

The position is placed in Laxå, Sweden. Occasional traveling is required.
Having the legal right to live and work in Laxå, Sweden is essential.
