Work Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering of automotive industry
Other Requirements:
8+ years mechanical engineering experience from the automotive industry (commercial vehicles, class 8 heavy trucks)
8+ year Experience from Chassis / Vehicle Dynamics engineering.
Documented proficiency in experience in sheet metal design, tubing, flexible piping, support brackets, design for manufacturing (DFM), design for aftermarket (DFAM), design for assembly (DFA), material properties and production processes.
Experience in injection molded plastic parts, properties and production processes
8+ years experience in product documentation with GD&T tolerancing and product structure
Heavy experience in conducting Design Reviews for large and small groups, both in person and via Internet
8+ years experience in diesel and alternative fuel systems, tanks, support brackets, fuel ines, understanding engine requirements, interpreting federal regulations, component responsibility, prototype truck build support
8+ years experience in constant communication with suppliers to ensure the best quality and lower price as possible
Experience in large, complex BOM documentation methods.
Excellent documentation skills. Engineering report, studies etc.
Be able to work and communicate abroad, manly trhu internet virtual meetings
Create and update Project Timeplans for a group of components, a system or even a group os systems. Also be able to quote the amount of hours necessary for it's completion.
Experience in leading design changes, product modification, engineering tasks and project
