Work duties
The long-term goal of this project is to develop immunotherapeutic strategies for dendritic cell-based targeting in HPV-associated head and neck cancers.
The project assistant will work with characterization of myeloid cells and T cells in malignant and benign tissue from the head and neck area, as well as in blood. The work includes cell culture in sterile environments, tissue dissocia-tion, flow cytometric analysis and cell sorting and developing protocols for proteomic and mRNA/miRNA-based analysis of subpopulations from tissues.
Qualification requirements
Master degree in Clinical Dentistry in Oral surgery
Experience of research in the area of head and neck cancers
Experience of Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) research
Experience of cell isolation
Experience of biostatistical methods
Experience of RNA/DNA extraction and RT-qPCR/PCR
Experience of scientific writing

Terms of employment
Temporary employment, 100 %, during 3 months.
