Quality is a core value of the Volvo Group and a prerequisite for Customer Satisfaction. As a Product Quality Leader you will held a strategic high important role belonging to the department Product Quality within the GTT Quality & Customer Satisfaction organization. The department has the overall responsibility over Complete Vehicle Quality including Diagnostics and in this role you will be a key player in this value adding process. You will be responsible for transformation of customer needs into useful diagnostic features in benefits of shorter downtime of the vehicle.
The mission for a PQL EEE&SW is to lead the quality work throw cross functional team to improve the quality of electrical components and software for adding value to our customers, to improve the quality of products, reduce the total warranty cost and minimize breakdowns.
Main Responsibilities
• Detect quality problems in early phases by analyzing warranty data, statistics, customer input etc.
• Lead pre-investigations to decision for solving process
• Launch and hand over the project to project manager
• Monitor progress of the launched projects, secure market implementation, monitor effectiveness of introduced solutions and feedback the organization
• Ensure right problem prioritization and initiation of counteractions
• Consolidate and report quality status for your technical area
• Propose/support external campaign when needed

Qualifications
• Master degree in technical area or equivalent experience
• Experience in Electrical Engineering and SW - Product and System knowledge (vehicle EEE Hardware and software architecture knowledge)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent English skills
• Good analytical skills
• Problem solving methods knowledge (e.g. Six Sigma, 8D)

For success in this role you have work experience in relevant field for minimum 3 years and proven record in excellent communication and presentation skills. You thrive to take the lead with courage and integrity and feel comfortable working autonomously. You have ability to build trust and to work cross-functionally.
