Operations Support involves project planners assisting FACTS' Project Managers with time schedules for projects and tenders, as well as with analysis and reports from our database Primavera. Operating within project execution, your main mission will be to identify risks and opportunities together with the project team. You will also identify and recommend actions needed to meet the contractual milestones. In terms of working with tenders, you will develop schedule scenarios that enables senior management to assess risks and aligns customer expectations with realistic milestone forecasts. Taking part in multiple projects and tenders, you will be able to put your skills to the test within various projects with order values of 5 to 50 million US dollars and 12 to 28 months' delivery time. This job may also include business trips.

At Operations Support - a unit highly valued within the entire business - we are looking for an experienced project planner to work alongside our Project Managers to support the timely delivery of FACTS' plants around the world. Early and accurate identification of schedule risks and opportunities are key capabilities of a professional project organization. Based on your knowledge and ideas you will also contribute to the continuous growth of the entire FACTS business. This position will offer you both significant influence as well as exiting challenges, a large network and the opportunity to further deepen your knowledge and broaden your skills.

To successfully take on this position, you need to be meticulous, analytical and confident in yourself and your ability. Excellent people skills, an ability to quickly adapt to new situations and a genuine interest in achieving best possible outcome are also important. Not to mention your drive and desire to develop - both yourself and our business.

You hold at least high school diploma along with a few years' experience of planning system delivery projects including engineering activities. An academic degree, preferably with a technical specialization, is qualifying. Knowledge and experience of using Primavera, as well as from working closely with technicians are also advantageous. Since our corporate language is English, proficiency in English is a must. Additional language skills, such as Spanish, German or Arabic are a plus.

You will be part of FACTS in Västerås. The FACTS technology enables power system owners to increase capacity in the existing power system while the electrical stability improves. As a result, more power reaches the customers at a minimal environmental impact, shorter project lead time and at lower investment costs. At the FACTS unit in Västerås, we develop and sell this groundbreaking technology to customers on the global market.
