This is an outstanding opportunity to be part of a cutting edge and fast growing company. Jeppesen Systems develops and implements state of the art technology and optimization systems for the world's leading railways and airlines.
We are in need of an Italian speaking Project Manager, based in Göteborg, for projects on a global scale implementing our optimization products and services. The company has projects lasting from a few months to several years and needs a project manager to administrate the day to day operation as well as keeping the contacts with management, customers and our R&D unit based in Australia.
You will be involved in all the stages of systems development from assessing initial concepts with the business through to delivery, implementation and post line review. You will also have full responsibility for ongoing supplier liaison.
Working in an expanding and evolving environment, the project managers will not have tightly defined boundaries. You will not be required to follow a single formal methodology and you will be expected to shape the project to the task and development in question.
The successful candidate will have at least three years relevant experience from introducing and using IT in a business environment. You are sociable and ready to take initiatives.
Required qualifications
• Project management knowledge with at least three years experience.
• Degree in telecom or software engineering.
• Fluent Italian and English language skills, written and verbal.
• Ability and willingness to travel from home base in Göteborg and to adapt to working hours of other time zones.
• Eligible to live and work in Sweden.
Meriting qualifications
• Previous experience of working in Italy.
• Project Management certificate.
• Other foreign languages.
