Scania is undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions. Customized truck development aims to accelerate this transformation by providing customer specific adaptations which are otherwise not possible in the standard Scania portfolio. Our customers range from logistic fleet operators to defence armed forces.

We are now looking for a Project manager who will join the product Follow up team at customized truck mainly working with fast paced assignments in the Quick flow. We are a team consisting of 6 individuals from different nationalities and backgrounds. In this role you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of products, systems, challenges, and cross-functions.

Your role
In your role as a Project manager-Quick you will lead assignments solving deviations both in production and aftermarket. You will also be the pivotal point coordinating Late changes for customized truck and will bring the much needed software expertise into the team.
Typical work tasks could include:
• Leading assignments related to aftermarket deviations (FQ), developing short term actions, service solutions for our customers in a high paced environment.
• Understand and comprehend software related issues from production and suggest suitable actions which will then be coordinated with the respective design groups
• Coordinate Late Specification changes with production, help understand impact on parts, vehicle software and possibly certification.
• Together with the colleagues in the team You are also responsible for continuously improving and challenging the group's working methods and processes.

Your profile
You love working in a fast paced environment where all the tasks required to achieve the final goal are not necessarily clear. You see deviations as an opportunity to improve and learn. As a person, you are structured, creative, driven, flexible and used to taking responsibility. You can easily collaborate with others but can also work independently towards a set target. You are looking for breadth rather than depth in working tasks and like to have multiple things ongoing.

You have a M.Sc. or B.Sc. in mechatronics, systems design, electro or equivalent and preferably some years of working experience in the automotive industry and/or with embedded systems . Experience in programming and working with cyber security is a merit. You can communicate fluently in English.
