Purpose of the Role
As a Project Manager, you will join the Service and Installation Department in Karlskrona and have a key role in our service projects for cables. Our projects are mainly offshore but also onshore and you will have the overall responsibility for our ongoing service agreements.
It will be your mission to ensure that NKT delivers great after sales service and meets requirements according to all parties involved. On top of this, you will be responsible for the project management of turnkey repair projects with substantial budgets and short lead times. This means to lead and coordinate the projects when it comes to timing, resources, purchase, project budget follow-up, risk calculations, HSE and internal documentation.
In this role, you will also have a shared responsibility to contribute in making our processes more effective and structured.
Your Profile
You probably hold a university degree, preferably within Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Construction. In addition to that you have at least five years ' experience from project management in an international context.
If you can add offshore knowledge to this background, it is highly qualifying. Fluency in Swedish and English is required, while additional language such as German is beneficial. BAS P/BAS U as well as any electrical safety competence is seen as an additional merit.
Your personality is equally important and we assume that you are a highly result focused person who has the ability not only to delegate but also to delegate in an inspiring and communicative way. Apart from your excellent collaboration skills, which will come well to hand in your many stakeholder contacts, you need to have strong planning skills with an eye for the details. To succeed in this role you further on need to be a very flexible person with a creative, systematic and problem-solving mindset. The work is conducted at our office in Karlskrona and on site in Sweden and abroad which means around 10-12 travels/year is to be expected.
