The primary purpose of this position is to provide project management and leadership to global cross-functional teams assigned to evaluate and execute new product development and launches, major line extensions or new product claims within the food and pharma business area. This position manages on average 3-5 projects concurrently.
Duties include:
• Leads the projects and the core teams in building aggressive plans, in escalating major issues and deviations from plan, risk management, driving immediate problem solving and aggressively progress key milestones.
• Leads and facilitates project team meetings, including agendas, meeting minutes, action items, financial forecasts etc.
• Communicates project status both within and beyond the project teams including to Senior Management.
• Maintains project documentation and project SharePoint sites.
• Identifies, and helps to implement, project management and process improvements as well as measure R&D key performance indicators.
Requirements
• Minimum of a Bachelors degree (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or equivalent technical degree is desirable).
• Minimum of five years of relevant industry experience, within consumer healthcare or consumer products area.
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and presenting to senior level executives.
• Demonstrated project management experience and strong organization skills
• Good presentation techniques and team building skills.
• Computer proficiency, preferably hands-on experience with Ms Project or equivalent project planning software.
• Since we work internationally good written and oral communications in English are essential.
