We, Project Office Powertrain Purchasing (PWT PO), are looking for a Project Manager Purchasing (PMP) for Electromobility

About the TEAM
You will belong to and be a member of Powertrain (PWT) Project Office team. On daily basis you will however be located and work close to the PWT Electromobility Purchasing team.

Electromobility Purchasing team is a dedicated, positive team with a can do attitude! Cross functional work is key for meeting the high time to market demand to further reinforce the collaboration the electromobility purchasing team is collocated with GTT Electromobility and City mobility team. The SCOPE?

The vehicle industry has just started a game changing transformation towards electromobility and Volvo Group is aiming for world leadership in this area! The demand from customers and societies for emission-free solutions is increasing quickly and Volvo group needs to move fast and be ahead of competitors. The area of electromobility is characterized by a dynamic environment with fast moving technology. The new business models and varying demands from customers entails not only to manage vehicles but a complete system. Time to market is key and to be able to deliver in the fast moving technology area agility and new ways of working is required.

Background and Location
To qualify for the position we trust that you've the adequate academic education and proven experience from the field of expertise. The position is based in Gothenburg.

The Role
As PMP you will be a key player in the project team as well as within Purchasing electromobility team. You will manage innovative projects that are developing and integrating new game-changing technologies delivering fully electrically powered drivelines. You will, in a pro-active way, drive and follow up the Purchasing part of the project according to the development process and deliver the Purchasing project on time with agreed quality, cost, features and technology, sustainability and risk (QDCF-TSR).
