At Corporate Communications we focus on building good relationships with journalists, online influencers and policy makers, and ensuring internal communication to all Volvo employees globally supports our brand and corporate strategy. The Product & Brand Communication team has the responsibility and the technical competence to present Volvo Car Group's products to global media and influencer audiences (including employees) through the creation of innovative, world class communication.
As Project Manager Product & Brand Communication, the main task will be to lead primarily product communication events, but also other corporate communications events and media visits.
Main responsibilities
* Responsible for the complete project lead and budget responsibility for events: from start-up to lessons learned and de-brief
* Secure a 360° approach for all projects, including relevant stakeholders within Corporate Communications, VCG, markets, agencies and suppliers
* Responsible for event briefing to relevant agencies and stakeholders, including Cars & Technical Support
* Responsible for event information to relevant stakeholders including Corporate Communication Management Team, EMT and PR Network
* Support the Senior Manager, Product Communication with input to agency and supplier pitches
* Together with Senior Manager, Product Communication, manage the development of future events to secure continuous improvement
Desired qualifications
* 2-3 years of documented experience from managing projects
* Experience from working with events and/or within media and communication is an advantage
* Academic degree or higher education diploma within relevant field is meritorious
* Fluent in English, orally and in writing and fluent in Swedish, orally
* Comfortable using Microsoft Office package (PPT, Excel)
* Driving license

Since you will be managing different projects involving different people, you need to have a flexible mind-set together with strong communication skills.
