The turnover for the total Cochlear group is 2,4 Billion SEK and the average number of employees are 1100.

We now need to further strengthen the Design and Development team

The main task as the Project Manager Implants and Surgery at Cochlear BAS is to manage implants and surgery projects cross functional in the organization from idea to product launch. Throughout the project phases manage resources, budget, risks, quality and communication.

Accountability and associated responsibilities

• To manage, plan and coordinate projects in the organization
• Ensure that resources are available in order to complete projects according to plan
• Ensure that the project activities is carried out in a resource and cost effective way
• Responsible for prioritizing activities within the scope of the project
• Responsible for conducting the projects according to the company quality system
• Contribute to the development of project processes within the organization
• Formulate strategies regarding the project activities

For this new challenging position within Cochlear BAS we are looking for a dynamic project manager that has a relevant background with at least 5 years of experience of project management, preferable with some experience from the medical device field. Experience from working in an international environment and with established project models is required as well as the ability to channel and facilitate open communication across functions.
Knowledge of MDD and CFR 21 is a strong wish as well as experience of clinical trials and validation when introducing new solutions.
Previous experience of working in a smaller organization is a plus as the person needs to be able to work independently, take on large responsibilities and be self driven.

We think that the person has a practical mind and an ability to see and coordinate small details as well as the total planning of the project.
The candidate should be result oriented, feel strong commitment to precise deliveries and have good writing, presentation and organizational skills.
Other key factors are excellent communication skills and fluent in English and Swedish.
