Are you a forward-thinking Project Manager eager to be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology in construction equipment? At our client's company, we are seeking a dynamic individual to take on the role as Project Manager for Electronics and Software, where you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and shaping the future of our projects.
Our client is probably best known as a world leader in machinery and diamond tools for the construction and stone industries. The department for Electronics & Software specializes in developing drive systems, encompassing power electronics and hard real-time software for all products within the company. Additionally, they excel in software for machine behavior, diagnostics, connectivity, and user interfaces.
As a project manager in the field of hardware and software, you will be handling parallel development projects, which include up to ten resources from your department. Your input is a crucial component within the overall scope, and you will work closely with fellow project managers and Lead Engineers to successfully conclude the projects. The proportion of projects involving electronics and software is growing within construction. Joining our client as a consultant offers a diverse role, providing opportunities for knowledge expansion and increased responsibilities in contributing to the development of superior products!
You will coordinate and serve as a spokesperson for other project managers, as well as interact with the managers of hardware, software, and test, to collectively establish strategies and resource planning.
To excel in this role, you should possess:
• A post-secondary education in a relevant field as well as a background within product development in HW, SW, Control Systems or equivalent.
• Several years of hands-on experience in project management, demonstrating expertise in team management, planning, budgeting, and risk management.
• Solid experience in managing cross-functional and distributed projects, particularly in hybrid projects involving electronics and/or software.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, with knowledge of Swedish considered beneficial.
