As a Project Manager you will manage major project using internal Ramboll resources as well as external ones; like sub-consultants and contractors. You will be expected to develop positive working relationships with clients, contractors, internal departments, relevant stakeholders and authorities in discharging our appointment. You will be the link between the client and the contractor and will use the knowledge from our internal teams, locally and globally to create successful and cost efficient projects.
In this role you will cover all phases in the process from tender phase to preliminary design and construction. We believe that you have a deep knowledge of bridge-construction in order to be able to make a bid including all the necessary components.
Your responsibilities include:
• Management of bid teams and preparation of proposals for multi-disciplinary tenders
• Plan, undertake, coordinate, and supervise technical work on bids and projects
• Managing change within the project scope whilst ensuring delivery to Client satisfaction.
• Provide guidance, instruct, motivate, and manage assigned staff on the project
• Ensuring that fees/costs are prepared on time and correctly submitted to the client with all necessary supporting information to facilitate prompt payment.
• Be the link between the client and the contractor
Required Skills and Experience:
• Project Management experience major international bridge and/or tunnel projects.
• Sound knowledge of structural steelwork and concrete design/detailing
• Capable of working independently and leading design activities
• Capability in leading design teams and business promotion
• Experience from a multi-disciplinary environment, working on complex projects including all phases of the process from design to construction.
• Leadership experience
• Experienced with EuroCodes.
• IPMA- international Project Management Association, certified or similar.
• Fluent in English.
