The company develops and manufactures advanced technology for the entertainment industry, including computerized control systems for all types of events and venues.
Visual act is looking for a project manager to manage installations of stage machinery, the production of major theatrical and studio sets and the technical part of major entertainment events. The ideal person has extensive experience as project manager, production coordinator, technical director or master carpenter (scenemester) for projects in theater, TV or film production, or major live events.
Requirements:
• Basic but broad technical knowledge. Can read construction drawings and electrical schematics
• An understanding of the importance of quality , detail oriented
• Willing to travel, even on short notice
• Can work well in a team environment and lead a project group of specialists
• Can handle stress and stressful situations
• Can embrace other cultures when traveling abroad and adapt to the situation
• Understand the importance or organization and cleanliness
• Has skills in English for reading, writing, and speaking
• Customer oriented. The project managers are part of the Visual act sales team.
Other skills and experience that will be valued:
• College degree or other education in engineering, or relevant experience
• Other languages
• Knowledge of quality systems such as the ISO 9001 series
• Basic programming skills and can navigate well under both Windows and Linux
