We are expanding our team with a Project Manager to deliver new cranes and modernizations to our customers. In this role, you will be the point of contact for many internal teams and our customers alike, becoming a central part to Konecranes' continued development.
In this role, you will work on projects throughout Sweden, and travel is frequent. Therefore, your starting point can be anywhere in the country. The role reports to the Operations Support Manager.
Your key responsibilities
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the delivery of multiple projects to ensure that all goals are achieved on time and within budget. You will collaborate with various people both within and outside the organization, such as the sales department, operations and installation teams, and of course, our customers.
Planning, prioritizing, and leading projects where new products are installed at the customer's site.
Following up and reporting on project delivery - both technical development and financial results.
Maintaining and developing the relationship with the customer as their "single point of contact" for Konecranes.
Responsible for ordering crane components and contact with the Global Component Order Execution team to ensure that component deliveries align with project schedules.
Leading weekly production planning meetings with internal teams and external manufacturing teams.
What should you bring?
Experience in project management in an industrial setting.
Good technical understanding in mechanics, electronics, and software.
Good financial understanding.
Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
A valid driver's license.
Previous experience working in an international organization is advantageous.
Experience with Siebel, any CAD tools, and mechanical/electrical design is also an advantage.
