Forming part of the Biotechnology segment at Danaher, we bring together dedicated technical expertise and talent to develop the next generation of life-changing therapeutics.
As Project Manager at Cytiva, you will be responsible for driving new product development projects for hardware, consumable and software within the biotech industry. You will lead all aspects of the project from design, testing and validation. You will work in a multi-skilled team to ensure the product can be transferred into manufacturing.
This position is part of the Discovery Project Management Group within the Discovery & Medical OpCo, located in Uppsala, Sweden and will be a hybrid role. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Listen, understand, translate and document internal and external customers' requirements.
Define project planning using Visual Project Management and daily management.
Drive clear communication and report project progress to leadership teams.
Maintain a technical understanding of the job done by your team members in their area of expertise (mechanical, chemical, electrical; automation etc.).
Define and keep on budget, monitoring the budget throughout the project plan.
Evaluate planning and technical risk to take decisions and ensure countermeasures are in place to ensure project achievements are met.
Write procedures, documentation and reports related to the tasks performed by yourself and the team.
Manage the preparation of user documentation of the products.
Strive for the progress of your project while taking into account other priorities of the company/department.

The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering field.
Track record of delivering new product development projects as the project manager (>3 years).
Fluent in Waterfall project management methods incl key elements like scheduling, risk management, communication, cost tracking, change management, stakeholder management, etc.
Experience managing cross-functional teams within the Life Sciences industry.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Master's Degree in Science or Engineering field.
Understanding of Agile project methods.
