The R&D Systems and Special Products Team are looking for a project manager who wants to work with accessories that complements Axis range of network cameras. The accessory range, include entirely mechanical products as well as systems with a combination of electronics and software. The work spans from running new product development projects, to finding and evaluating “off the shelf†products suitable as Axis accessories. Your main tasks will be to:
• Work with product management to refine product ideas
• Drive normal project management activities like planning, writing specifications and follow-up
• Find and negotiate with suppliers
• Actively look for solutions, including technical, and drive decision making
• Look for synergies and dependencies with/on other projects
• Dare to set tough/realistic schedules and inspire the team to succeed with it
• Fight for your project’s success
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a driven and organized Project Manager with experience from project management in a product development environment. We believe you have an educational background in engineering and at least 3-5 years of project management experience.
We believe that suitable candidates have a broad engineering background with good knowledge of both electronics and mechanics. It’s important that you have strong abilities both in planning and executing projects as well as managing the people within them.
Furthermore you have good communication and negotiation skills. You have very good Swedish and English skills (written and verbal).
