To the Digital Machining Innovation team - where we all share a passion for innovation and developing new solutions - we are looking for a Project Leader for the area Intelligent Machining - someone who wants to part of a new area in our business from an early stage, drive exciting initiatives and develop their own leadership. The location for this position is Sandviken, Sweden.
Key performance areas
As Project Leader within Intelligent Machining, you lead projects in product and knowledge development to ensure delivery according to set project objectives and in alignment with Sandvik's overall project models. You are accountable for projects concerning development of APIs and software product interfaces, software applications and modularized software systems as well as certification and validation. In your work, you always promote agile product development, act as a scrum master and create a developing setting by training and coaching your project team members.
You report directly to the Manager Intelligent Machining.

We are looking for someone with a university degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Signal Analysis or Computer Science or with equal knowledge and experience gained from a working career. You are highly experienced in project management and know how to successfully lead a team from start to finish. You also have good knowledge about electronic hardware and software environments, as well as test driven development and agile product development and your background includes a proven track record of developing products within areas relevant to the position. Additionally, you have good understanding of software development; C/C++, Python, C#, .NET, Qt/PyQt, Html5, Javascript, Css and Django; and as we act on the international arena, your communication skills in English are excellent, both verbally and in writing.
