Assignment description
We are hiring a project leader to work at one of our clients within the Automotive industry.
Design Leader - Cockpit
In Car Experience is looking for reinforcement in the area of Design engineering lead.
In Car Experience belongs to Cockpit Art in the Department of Interior.
Cockpit Art develops Instrument Panel, Tunnel Consoles, Decoratives and Cross Car beam.
Cockpit Art is responsible for its own design and production of the above mentioned components as well as an integration responsibility within the Cockpit.
The work is conducted in the line organization and in close collaboration with product design, suppliers, engineering team, also contact network are assignment leaders in the departments Interior, In Car Digital, Transmission and Chassi.
Our participation in the development process extends from early concept and feasibility studies through the projects and finally to a production introduction.
We have the task of staffing our projects with both contracts and internal engineers.
Important product features, which we constantly develop our competence in are safety, durability, environment, styling and HMI (Human Machine Interface).
Part of the work also entails analysis of competitors' choice of technical system solutions.
Deliveries:
Running cross-functional development within and outside the Cockpit ART
Together with SA put together a concept offering that meets ordering requirements and individual elements to design
Support and lead the engineering work and balance concept/system to meet the requirements and order.
Support and develop together with SA common strategy for materials and supplier selection and choice of systems and design solution.
Ensures that engineering guidelines are complied within the design.
Support the responsible design engineers, set up, manage and follow up the component development time plans.
Design lead responsibility for both for FSS and build to print programs(in house design)
We are looking for you who is a qualified engineer with a keen interest in technology and with the car in focus.
You should have the ability to innovate, see things from new perspectives and lead our development. You should be flexible and cope with a high tempo, while also having a sense of accuracy.
Requirements
Engineering degree Master / University Engineer
At least 5 years of design experience
Automotive experience
Good knowledge of Swedish and English, in speech and writing is required.
Software & IT skills
Trained and active in CATIA V5 / 3DPMI
Personal attributes
Team leading skills is mandatory
Creative, curious
Good cooperative ability

Open to Sub-contract and permanent candidates
Location of work: Gothenburg
Start day: ASAP
Extent: Full time starting with a six month probation period
