hela Sverige You will be part of ABB Mining and the Electrical Design unit. We develop and deliver underground mine hoists to the entire world. Example of our delivery projects are new hoists where ore are transported up from 600 meters below the surface, then on a conveyor belts into a sorting plant. In plants such as these the process units are integrated with industrial IT 800xA control systems based on virtual servers. The markets are all over the world. At times we work with projects where various parts of the construction is manufactured in different countries e.g. deliveries to China and Australia.
Would you like to work in an exciting sector where the development opportunities are great? Currently we are looking for a lead engineer for Electrical Design in our delivery projects of mine hoists. You will be in charge of the plant's design, documentation and validation. This includes drive systems, controllers and the electrical part of the brake system, sensors as well as any other systems that are process technically related. Also software, configurations and applications of control systems are included in the job. You will be responsible for leading and distributing the electrical design. You will also support our engineers during commissioning both on site and from home office. Together with the project manager, you will ensure that the project delivers on time and within budget. In this role you also act as the project manager 's technical expert.
You have a Master's degree in Engineering or similar. We see that you have 2-5 years of work experience with software or electrical hardware in larger plant projects. If you have experience from commissioning, this is meriting. It 's meritorious if you have knowledge about ABB's control system 800xA and the electrical design software, E3. On a personal level we expect you to be a team player with excellent priority ability. You work in a structured and analytical way to meet deadlines and you always work with focus on quality. You are fluent in Swedish and English. Other language skills are considered as additional qualifications. Further, you will benefit from any sector related experience.
