hela Sverige As Project HSE Manager in a HVDC project, you will act as project manager for the HSE execution of the project as a support to the main responsible manager, you will lead the HSE preventive and controlling work in a large/mega construction project. You will create the project HSE Plan, control it and keep it updated throughout the project. Furthermore your responsibility will be to coordinate and ensure the HSE work in all parts of the project including involving all affected HVDC departments and associated parties. You will be able to discuss our HSE work with customers and be responsible for the HSE risk assessments. As Project HSE Manager you will be responsible to establish, follow-up and act on HSE KPI's for the project. You will also be responsible to review, analyze and act on HSE incidents and observations within the project.
Your role includes working closely together with the projects site Safety Advisors and directly under the Health, Safety and Environment Manager at HVDC and the Project Manager/Director.
We are looking for an experienced and driven HSE manager with developed and demonstrated communication skills. You hold a Bachelor of Engineering or Master of Science, a HSE education and have long experience of project management as well as HSE risk management. Knowledge in safety by design and safe operations in large customer projects is meritorious. You have conducted a Project Management Training, PMI or equivalent education. Moreover, you are very familiar with the ISO standards and have a proven leader ability and teaching skills. As HVDC is active in an international environment, it is crucial that you are fluent in English, written and spoken alike. It is also a plus if you have previously worked in a global organization and hold a NEBOSH certificate. We are looking for someone who combine business mind and the ability to communicate, motivate, investigate and coach. You can grasp both the full picture and understand the complexity in processes of change. At the same time you are a doer who has the ability to make decisions, take initiative and launch new activities.
You will be part of HVDC within the Power Systems division in Ludvika. The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 60 years and is used to transmit power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems.
