General information
We now look for a qualified energy engineer preferably with a specialization in refrigeration and heat pump engineering to support our Chinese projects. The working tasks requires a strong background in thermodynamics in general, such as fluid dynamics and heat transfer.
Experience from research, development and energy system design is a good asset. Further, you need to be outgoing and have an interest in working with people from both industry and academia. Written and oral communication in English is mandatory as well as Chinese (Mandarin) in this case. Basic knowledge in Swedish is a plus.
Duties
Engineering tasks mainly in the energy and refrigeration field such as: research, calculations, report writing, etc.
Ÿ Design with commonly used CAD-tools
Ÿ Energy calculations and simulations with internal and external tools
Ÿ Evaluations of field data and analysis
Ÿ Internal development projects
Ÿ Documentation in technical reports or equivalent
Ÿ Translation EN and CN in both directions.
Further to serve as communicator, link and facilitator in EKAs Chinese projects. This primarily includes tasks such as: compiling design requirements; process information and data provided by the customers into system design parameters. Further, to use EKAs design and calculation tools to produce a basis for tender specifications or straight to design guidelines for contractors.
Qualifications
Ÿ Education: MSc. in Energy engineering or corresponding
Ÿ Experience with energy system simulation softwares (TRNSYS, IDA ICE, EES, etc.)
Ÿ Familiar with energy and refrigeration system design (preferably with natural refrigerants)
Ÿ Experience of CAD (AutoCAD, Draftsight, etc.)
Ÿ Fluent in English and Chinese (writing and speaking)
The work is carried out under flexible conditions in a creative environment. We offer market conditions and stimulating tasks. Älvsjö is located on Stockholm's south side and is reached by commuter train from Stockholm C in about 10 minutes.
