Intertek Sweden is looking for a senior project engineer within the medical devices field to join our growing team in Stockholm.
About the position
Our medical department performs safety testing according to applicable standards on active medical devices such as ventilators, medical robots, X-ray equipment etc. As a project engineer you will be responsible for performing testing and evaluation on a variety of products where you'll work directly with medical device manufacturers across the globe. You will be part of a great team that works together towards the purpose of making the medical device industry ever better and safer for all.
Your tasks will include:
• Perform electrical and mechanical testing of products in accordance with the relevant standards.
• Compile test results, analyze and transfer data into test reports.
• Make sure both clients and management are aligned with the project status and test results.
• Ensure testing is conducted in conjunction with Intertek's quality system and accreditation requirements.
About you:
• Bachelor's or associate degree in electrical or medical engineering
• Experience in one or more electrical safety standards e.g. IEC/EN IEC/EN 60601/61010
• Experience in working with ISO 14971 and risk management
• Experience working with medical devices such as in design, repair etc
• Experience working in an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory.
• Excellent communication, in both verbal and written formats.
