We currently employ more than 1000 people in Belgium on two locations covering project management, R&D, quality assurance and sales activities but also logistics and mechanical & electronic production.
Elsewhere in Europe, AW EUROPE holds a network of resident sites with its main Customers including our AW TECHNICAL CENTER EUROPE in Gothenburg.

From Customer site, your main role consists in managing, supporting and reporting to our headquarters in Belgium and Japan all necessary activities and meetings in order to ensure product development within the expected timing.
1. Follow up in close cooperation with our Customer on project progress
2. Manage & Report main project indicators
3. Support Project Management in preparing and achieving the Automatic Transmission Business Plan through the various project stages.
4. Manage on-site activities such as vehicle testing activities and regular Customer meetings
5. Clarify and represent Customer's voice and facilitate communication between all parties involved in automatic transmission projects to reach a win-win cooperation by inquiring thoroughly our Customer's requirements and investigating how they can be satisfied.
Essential requirements:
• Engineering Degree in Mechanics or Mecatronics
• Fluency in Swedish and English (read, spoken and written)
• Ability to use Microsoft Office
• Stress resilience (i.e. priority setting, synthetic, well organized)
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Passion for automotive industry and interest in our drivetrain products
• Systematic, result or solution oriented, problem solver
• Analytic, persevering, rigorous
• Opened to foreign cultures, other disciplines
• Learning by himself, not reluctant with OJT (on the job training)
Desirable requirements:
Project Management experience
2 years experience in automotive industry or similar position
Experience in multi-cultural environment (especially with Japan)
