We are looking for you who loves to lead big exciting projects! You have a passion for the Retail business, and you are well aware of how we need to meet customers changing needs in a new way.
You have led and delivered bigger complex projects from beginning to end, involving many people. As an experienced project leader, you have the ability to apply a helicopter view, coordinate the right tasks to the right people and motivate a team to work against a specific goal. You share IKEA's values, collaboration and innovation come naturally, and you are not the first to apply the handbrake.
Moreover, you have knowledge of:
• project management life cycle
• practical leasing negotiations
• customer and market intelligence
• organizational control process
A DAY IN YOUR LIFE WITH US
As a Project Development Leader, you will lead bigger redevelopment projects of our existing Meeting Places in Sweden. You will build up a team and together with them and your stakeholders, you will redevelop the Meeting Places into something that exceeds our customers' expectations!
Moreover, you will:
• plan and timely deliver the project within the budget and with expected quality. Ensure that all necessary processes such as design, permitting, leasing, marketing and construction are running smoothly
• execute our localized Meeting place concept according to the commercial idea in the specified market and thus create an additional future asset value, based on unique customer experience and Omni-channel infrastructure
• efficiently communicate with projects investors and stakeholders
• implement mitigation plans for defined Project risk areas
• manage and maintain positive relationships with regional and local city authorities establish relations and network with industry partners.
In this role, you will be based in Malmö, Sweden. However, you will of course travel in your work to meet different team members and stakeholders. Your closest manager will be Björn Nilsson, our Project Development Manager.
