Vattenfall is Europe's fifth largest electricity generator and the largest producer of heat and operates in Sweden, Denmark, Germany, the Benelux and the UK. Our strategy is to reduce emissions from power generation with a road map to achieve climate neutrality by 2050. Business Division Renewables is responsible for wind power and biomass. Investments in wind power is an important cornerstone to deliver our road map and we plan, build and own wind farms in five countries, onshore and offshore. Investment in biomass fuel is key to further reduce the emissions. We have about 330 employees.
The department Project Development Sweden, is responsible for building up Vattenfall's portfolio of onshore wind projects in Sweden, ie. to identify and develop wind power projects to investment decision. The department currently consists of eight employees and as the business is in an expansive phase, we need to strengthen our team with a Project development coordinator who will work with us developing Swedish onshore wind projects.
Main tasks
In the role as Project development coordinator you support the project managers in Development Sweden with coordination and administration of wind development projects in all phases. You will also take responsibility for land owner administration, and support the head of Development Sweden in issues related to team administration and coordination.
The role's responsibilities include - but are not limited to:
• Support project managers in planning, executing and follow up of project activities, time plans, tollgates and budget
• Plan, coordinate and facilitate internal and external meetings
• Document management
• Control and administer contracts and invoices
• Prepare decision material, collect input and manage review and sign-offs
• Plan and carry out events for land owners in cooperation with project manager
• Support department head in planning activities and develop tools and routines to improve cooperation and team efficiency.
Qualifications
We are looking for a person with experience from a similar role and have a minimum of 5 years experience from project administration in relevant industry (energy, construction etc.). The successful candidate has relevant work experience according to the XLPM project model or similar (PROPS etc.).
To be Successful in this role you need to be cooperative, self-driven and structured, able to take own initiatives and work independently towards tight deadlines and in a fast paced environment.
This position is located in Råcksta, Stockholm, in September we are moving to our newly built office in Solna.
