We are now looking for a consultant for a long term assignments as a Project Commercial Manager at our customers office in central Stockholm.
Main responsibilities
As a member of the Project Core Team and commercial "wing man" to the project manager support the project in effective contract commercial management including change and claims management.
Securing of the compliance with processes for incoming orders and order transaction in contractual and commercial aspects.
Where possible be commercial contact point for customers, partners & suppliers. Provide advice relating to contractual/claim matters across all of the business. Develop policies, procedures, strategies and activities to capture, store and retrieve all required documentation in support of claims, with special emphasis upon the large and complex projects. Prepare the necessary reports and obtain all necessary approvals. Define, implement, maintain and support effective commercial management policies, procedures, strategies and activities that promote prevention of claims by third parties.
Provide "claims"-related input during bid preparation.
Objectives for the position
Perform contrac/commercial management within the ongoing projects.
Protect and enhance project margins.
Improved internal and external customer satisfaction.
Contract and project efficiency improvements.
Extensive experience of claims resolution and litigation.
High level of contract negotiation skills.
Extensive knowledge of drafting and reviewing terms and conditions.
Knowledge of risk assessment and mitigation planning.
Commercial knowledge.
Experience in cost recovery management.
Experience in dealing with/interpreting financial information.
Transportation industry experience would be an asset.
Engineering degree or similar education (business administration, IT degree or similar education, combined with relevant experience would equally be acceptable).
Fluent in English and Russian.
Swedish language is a plus.
Characteristics
