hela Sverige ValueOne is looking for a Project Buyer Consultant with project management experience and knowledge of product transfers for a consultant assignment at a manufacturing company in Nacka south of Stockholm. The assignment lasts for nine months with possibilities for extension.
The role
The main responsiblity in the role as Project Buyer Consultant is to transfer/industrialize a product at a new external manufacturing partner supported by resources from R&D, strategic sourcing and supplier quality departments.
Main tasks:
Project planning, securing a smooth switch in supply chain.Ensure that the supply chain and manufacturing, including electrical testing, at the supplier is designed for optimized Quality, Delivery and Total Cost. Request Supplier Quality Plan implementation. Communicate technical specifications, follow up on implementation, and secure that production and quality standards are followed and understood by the supplier. Align with internal resources and the external manufacturing partner.Follow up on tasks and deliverables to ensure time to market. Ordering of samples. Support in optimizing the process for transfers for external manufacturing partners and set up a structure for supplier introductions.
Experience and competence
To succeed in this position, strong project management skills are required as well as experience from cross functional collaboration. You have a solid knowledge in electronics manufacturing-EMS, and experience from leading industrialization and/or supplier transfer projects. The role also requires understanding of generic quality concepts such as ISO standards and quality assurance, logistics, Lean and various manufacturing processes as well as experience of SAP. Your English must be fluent, both written and spoken.
Personal qualities such as good structure and natural communication skills is a prerequisite for the role. You are a person who easily creates trust and long-term relationships and have a solid technical interest. Furthermore you have a strong inner drive, a commercial mindset and the ability to act and take ownership of the tasks at hand.
