For our Kanthal Services team in Hallstahammar, we are now looking for a result-oriented and confident Project and Team Manager within Technical Services to join us in a project-based environment. Job Summary
As a Project and Team Manager, you work in a global role, focusing on the Nordic region, where you are responsible for organizing and executing project-based business. As profitability in our projects is of highest importance, you lead and develop the project team to ensure delivery as per agreed scope of supply, cost, timeliness and customer specifications. Together with the global sales teams, you also collaborate closely with the customer to define project scope, schedules, deliverables, strategies and priorities in order to deliver comprehensive offers and quotations. An important part of your mission is to assist in business development for internal sales and to handle the management of product manufacture and product services at our site in Hallstahammar. You also ensure first-class service to both internal and external stakeholders for the benefit of our business, and you sometimes act as the main contact between Kanthal and our customers.

In this position, you have Kanthal Service technicians reporting directly to you and you are accountable for leading and motivating the team by engaging in coaching and performance management in alignment with Sandvik's leadership model. You also identify training and development needs within the team and initiate relevant activities when necessary. You are an active part of the Kanthal Services management team, to which you contribute your knowledge and experience in enhancing our ways of working. Frequent travel is a natural part of this position.

We are looking for someone with a degree in Engineering or a similar field. You have experience from capital expenditures and managing technical projects related to equipment investments, while a project management certification is advantageous. Previous experience from working in a service organization or with key account management in a technical engineering company is necessary for success in this position, as is experience from customer interactions. Your background includes a wide technical understanding and the ability to handle pricing-related matters. Experience working with quality assurance and safety requirements is considered valuable. We rely on strong leaders to develop our business and expect that you have previously held leading positions in some context. As we operate internationally, you must also have excellent skills in Swedish and English, while skills in other Nordic languages are beneficial.
