SBG is searching for a Program Manager, Software with leadership experience to join their team based in Huddinge, Stockholm, and to work closely with other related Hexagon Group companies such as Leica Geosystems (Switzerland) and Mikrofyn (Denmark) to continue their success.
Dina arbetsuppgifterBeskrivning av arbetsuppgifter:
The Program Manager, Software will have the responsibility for developing the next generation software platform for our Machine Control Construction suite of products which includes office software solutions; networked jobsite (production control) and telematics solutions; continuous improvement to existing 3D dataflow solutions; and an interface between our proprietary products and external CAD packages from 3rd party providers.
Main components of the role include:
• Providing leadership and general management for the SBG Stockholm site, reinforcing the company's values and the vision of the Machine Control Construction business
• Performing market analysis and monitoring new technologies and competitive products
• To satisfy customer needs, by working collaboratively with the R&D, marketing, sales, and business development/OEM teams in new and existing product development of systems for the MCC market
• To ensure products and solutions produced for the construction market operate effectively and deliver tangible value to end users' operations
• Ownership on a product level for the "4P's" (i.e. Product, Price, Promotion, and Place) for assigned products
• Defining and implementing the strategy for products in collaboration with other Program Managers and internal stakeholders, ensuring the end-product is in line with the solution strategy
• Providing support to the Business Development team on OEM activities
Utbildning och erfarenhet• A relevant Bachelor's Degree (Business, Engineering, Surveying, Technology) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• General management experience and strong leadership skills, including the capability of providing direction to team members both locally and remotely
• Excellent communications skills (verbal and written), with the ability to interface at all levels and functions and to provide accurate and concise feedback to customers and stakeholders
• Experience in Construction and/or Machine control is a major advantage, particularly in relation to onboard & office-based technologies (Telematics) and automated solutions (M2M)
• Working knowledge of construction products such as theodolites, total stations and GNSS, lasers beneficial
• Demonstrated experience working as part of a product development process, particularly in software development (from an Application Engineer / Product Manager perspective)
• Ability to take the functional lead to develop products that meet the scope and requirements of products as per the product roadmap
• English language skills (fluent written and verbal) is a pre-requisite. The ability to communicate in other languages e.g. Swedish, German or Danish, in order to work effectively with virtual & remote teams would be highly regarded.
